A government employee was killed in an attack by motorcycle-riding assailants in Lamitan, Basilan on Thursday night.

The push to explore a new form of government for the city, an idea that lay dormant for about two years, has bubbled back up.

At its annual retreat Friday, the Park City Council discussed the future of City Hall and whether another potential location would be viable. The current City Hall was once Marsac Elementary School.
