It will also offer 4K recording with focus tracking enabled, a feature that typically only works at Full HD resolution on most previous-gen Android phones.

ASUS has confirmed that the Zenfone 12 Ultra will launch on February 6. The company has revealed that the event will showcase the phone's 4K video recording capabilities with focus lock. ASUS has also teased that the new model will leverage AI to enhance mobile photography, although full specifications remain under wraps.

The ASUS Zenfone 12 Ultra is coming in February and it doesn't look like there will be a compact version this year as well.

After dropping the compact vibe with the supersized Zenfone 11 Ultra in 2024, it looks like the Taiwanese tech company is doubling down on this new direction for 2025.

The company revealed the news on X (formerly Twitter) that the Zenfone 12 Ultra will launch on February 6. That’s a bit earlier than last year’s Zenfone 11 Ultra, which came out in March, so it looks like ASUS is pushing up its release schedule.
