Islanders make two roster moves ahead of Sharks matchup
The Florida Panthers continue to be active in the leadup to the NHL trade deadline. The defending Stanley Cup champions acquired goaltender Vitek Vanecek from the last-place San Jose Sharks for 25-year-old forward Patrick Giles on Wednesday.
