Nosferatu star Lily Rose Depp's audition for Ellen Hutter has been released online, and it's seriously creepy. The star appears in a brief clip shared as part of the behind-the-scenes extras for the horror movie's digital release.

Currently holding an 84 percent critic rating and 73 percent audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes, Nosferatu has certainly won the approval of most viewers. It's earned $156 million at the global box office, despite any major franchise backing or widespread marketing, making it the second-highest grossing film for its studio, Focus Features.

As for when it'll arrive on a subscription streaming service, we have an educated estimate. As a Focus Features release, "Nosferatu" falls under the NBCUniversal umbrella. That means it will eventually go to Peacock and it gives us a helpful point of reference for its potential streaming timeline.

Nosferatu is now available to watch at home after scaring up more than $150 million worldwide following its festive release. Written and directed by Robert Eggers, the horror movie is a remake of the iconic 1922 movie and sees Lily-Rose Depp star as Ellen, a young woman who becomes the obsession of ancient vampire Count Orlok ( Bill Skarsgård ).

Lily-Rose Depp, who plays Orlok's object of obsession, Ellen Hutter, calls Skarsgård "the only man for the job." Nicholas Hoult, who plays Ellen's husband, Thomas, says, "It's something that is so intimidating and fully realized and horrific that it is incredible to see but also terrifying to be around."

The home video edition of the film comes with a coffin-sized collection of bonus features, including an extended cut and director's commentary by Robert Eggers.
