The Iowa Department of Natural Resources (DNR) will hold a series of public meetings to review the recently concluded hunting and trapping seasons and discuss potential changes to related rules and regulations.
The Iowa Department of Natural Resources is providing grants to disadvantaged schools across Iowa to plant trees. The department received $105,000 to give to schools this year. The funds were provided by the USDA Forest Service and the National Association of State Foresters 2023 Inflation Reduction Act (IRA).

Comments collected from these public meetings will be considered along with other related comments received by the Iowa DNR prior to proposing changes to hunting rules and regulations.
