You may have heard that Washington Commanders tight end Zach Ertz and Philadelphia Eagles coach Nick Sirianni got into a bit of a spat after the division rivals faced off last Sunday afternoon.

Reports surfaced this week that Washington Commanders tight end Zach Ertz and Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni had to be separated after Washington beat Philadelphia in Week 16.

The Philadelphia Inquirer's Jeff McLane reported about a confrontation between Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni and Commanders TE Zach Ertz.

Sirianni only relented when Philadelphia legend Dom DiSandro, the Eagles’ chief security officer known as “Big Dom,” came over and ushered the head coach into the tunnel at Northwest Stadium. DiSandro made headlines last year when he and 49ers linebacker Dre Greenlaw got into a scuffle, leading to both getting ejected.

Eagles coach Nick Sirianni has apologized to Commanders tight end Zach Ertz following a dustup between the two of them after Sunday's game, a league source confirmed.

Eagles punter Braden Mann has struggled on kickoffs the last month, including against the Giants. Mann’s second kickoff on Sunday went out of bounds, allowing the Giants to start at their 40. Three weeks ago, Mann’s kicks averaged 55 yards against the Commanders, so they went to about the 10-yard line each time.
