All options are still on the table for the Pittsburgh Steelers at quarterback and one analyst thinks they'll end up signing a top free agent.

Minnesota has spent this week at the NFL Combine trying to gauge the market for veteran quarterback Sam Darnold as they determine if they want to place the franchise tag on him. At this point, if the Vikings decide to use the franchise tag on Darnold, it would most likely be because they have found a willing trade partner.

Pro Football Focus put out what they consider the best quarterback options for all the quarterback-needy teams in the NFL including the Steelers. For Pittsburgh, they went with Minnesota Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold.

Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders are the top two, but the Jets, picking seventh, aren’t in an optimal spot to take one of them. If Glenn and Mougey believe either will be a franchise quarterback, the Jets have the assets to move up.
