"Her enduring legacy has spanned nearly 50 years on General Hospital alone and, just as Monica was the heart of the Quartermaines, Leslie was a beloved matriarch of the entire cast and crew," he continued.

According to Variety, soap opera icon Leslie Charleson died on January 12, 2025 at the age of 79. Per the outlet, Frank Valentini, the longtime soap’s executive producer, released a heartfelt tribute to the actress who had such an impact on the show.
