The memo was allegedly written to bring the Defense Intelligence Agency in line with President Donald Trump's anti-DEI executive orders.

Other events that will be impacted include those related to Black History Month, Women's History Month, Women's Equality Day, National Hispanic Heritage Month, and National American Indian Heritage Month.
