Arizona Diamondbacks left-hander Jordan Montgomery threw a 26-pitch bullpen session Tuesday as he works his way back from a minor finger injury he's dealt with since the outset of spring training.

Montgomery (finger) will throw to live batters on the backfields Tuesday, Alex Weiner of Arizona Sports reports.
