The 13-year-old boy police say made school shooting threats toward Roosevelt Elementary School last week appeared in court via Zoom Tuesday.

The student was arrested at home before school after police were tipped off about a shooting threat at Bonita Vista Middle School

Detectives questioned the boy, who initially claimed he went to the school to sell candy, but later told a social worker he went there to scare students.
