The Finnish government has approved its 27th military aid package for Ukraine worth 198 million euros ($206 million), the Finnish Defense Ministry said on Jan. 31. This brings Finland's total defense aid provided to Ukraine since the outbreak of Russia's full-scale invasion in 2022 to 2.

Finland has been among the top donors of military aid to Ukraine since the Russian attack began nearly three years ago.

Sweden's defence minister said on Thursday the Nordic country had agreed to donate its biggest aid package to Ukraine so far, worth 13.5 billion Swedish crowns ($1.23 billion). The aid package is Sweden's 18th since Russia launched a large-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022.

The Nordic country will double the amount of Stridsbåt 90 combat boats it's donating from Swedish armed forces stocks to 32 boats, among other things.
