Washington Commanders veteran tight end Zach Ertz has left the field with a concussion. Ertz headed to the locker room amidst the second half of Sunday's matchup against the New Orleans Saints after being tackled by linebacker Will Harris as the ball carrier.

The Commanders announced that Ertz was diagnosed with a concussion and ruled out for the rest of the game against the Saints. Originally, the team had deemed him "questionable" to return as he was evaluated for the injury, but it didn't take long for the team to declare him out.
