Winter storm Enzo brought a rare snowfall and record-cold air temperatures to Houston, New Orleans, and Florida, forcing several ports on the Gulf Coast to close all operations beginning of the week.

A rare winter storm charging through Texas and the northern Gulf Coast has closed highways and airports and prompted the first blizzard warning for southeast Texas and southwest Louisiana.
