Penn State quarterback Beau Pribula announces that he will enter the NCAA Transfer Portal before the Nittany Lions' first game in the College Football Playoff.

Backup quarterback Beau Pribula, a redshirt sophomore, plans to enter the transfer portal, according to 247Sports Matt Zenitz. On3’s Pete Nakos reported that Pribula is not expected to stick with the Nittany Lions through their College Football Playoff run, which begins Saturday against SMU.

So far this year, Pribula has played in all 13 games, rushing 38 times for 242 yards and 4 touchdowns. The Nittany Lions aren't just losing valuable depth at the QB position with his transfer, but one of their most trustworthy offensive weapons.
