JetBlue Airways Corporation ( NASDAQ: JBLU) announced on Tuesday that it is the first U.S. airline to accept payments through the Venmo service. The airline company said it is aiming to make it easier for customers to book flights online by using the secure payment option.

JetBlue (JBLU) is now accepting Venmo (PYPL) as a payment option for flights booked on its website, making it the first airline to do so, the company announced on Tuesday.

JetBlue now accepts Venmo payments for flights, in what it called a first for airlines on Tuesday. Venmo payment options are available on the airline’s website and will roll out on their mobile app “in the coming months,
