Though no one won the big jackpot of $619 million in the Tuesday, Dec. 10, Mega Millions drawing, it wasn’t all bad news — a mystery shopper who bought a lottery ticket from a Publix in Crystal River, Florida, matched five numbers to win $5 million.

No one matched all six numbers in Friday's Mega Millions drawing, pushing the jackpot to a staggering $740 million for Tuesday's drawing. This makes it the eighth-largest jackpot in the lottery's history.

A Mega Millions player just missed a $619 million jackpot — but still scored a massive win in Florida. The player bought a ticket that matched all but one number picked in the Dec. 10 drawing. Since the person spent an extra dollar on the Megaplier option, their $1 million prize rose to $5 million, results show.
