After almost a year of being considered out-of-network, WellNow Urgent Care will begin accepting Excellus BlueCross BlueShield health insurance starting on Friday, Nov. 15.

On Jan. 1, the insurance was not accepted at the urgent care centers due to a contract disagreement. Following a new provider contract agreement, members will regain in-network access to WellNow’s urgent care facilities starting Nov. 15.

WellNow Urgent Care has confirmed that it will once again be accepting BlueCross BlueShield insurance beginning in November. On Monday, Nov. 11, WellNow announced that it has implemented a new provider contract agreement with Excellus BCBS to provide coverage to patients with a benefit plan through the health insurance agency.
