After more than four weeks on strike, 55,000 Canada Post employees will be back on the job Tuesday after being ordered to return to work by a tribunal that ruled there was an impasse in bargaining.

According to the Canadian Federation of Independent Business, the four-week postal worker strike has cost Canada's SMBs $54 million per day.

As the nationwide postal strike hit the four-week mark Friday, federal Labour Minister Steven MacKinnon announced he's sending the labour dispute between Canada Post and the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) to the Canada Industrial Relations Board.
