The New South Wales Rural Fire Service has told people it is too late to leave parts of Sydney’s northern beaches as a large bushfire approaches properties and homes. The RFS warned people in the Cromer Heights area near Oxford Falls Road on Saturday afternoon that their lives were at risk and that they should immediately seek shelter.

An emergency bushfire warning is in place for parts of Sydney’s Northern Beaches as an out of control blaze threatens lives and property in the area.
