At least one person was shot and another was injured as shots rang out while hundreds of people were leaving downtown Baton Rouge after the annual Christmas parade, according to multiple news reports. The shooting occurred just before 7:30 p.m. on River Road near the U.S.S. Kidd, WBRZ and WAFB TV stations reported.

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Two people were hurt after the Christmas parade wrapped in downtown Baton Rouge. Hundreds of people were exiting the downtown area when gunshots rang out around 7:15 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14. According to EMS, one person was shot near the levee, just behind the USS KIDD Veterans Museum.
