On Sunday, news broke that former Mississippi State starting quarterback Michael Van Buren had committed to LSU. Van Buren is 6-foot-1, 200 pounds and made eight starts for the Bulldogs in 2024 as a true freshman.

"I feel like I could fit in well," Seymore said, "and I could fly around and be the athlete I feel like I am."

Auburn is adding an experienced safety from the transfer portal to its secondary. According to a report by Christian Clemente of Auburn Undercover, Auburn has landed a commitment from Taye Seymore, a safety formerly of Georgia Tech.
