Nikita Singhania, wife of Bengaluru-based techie Atul Subhash, was arrested from a paying guest (PG) accommodation in Gurugram’s Rail Vihar area after days of evading authorities. She had been on the run following a suicide abetment case filed by Atul’s family.

Bengaluru police arrested the wife, mother-in-law, and brother-in-law of Atul Subhash, a deceased auto executive, on charges of abetment to suicide. The trio, apprehended in Gurugram and Allahabad, are in judicial custody.

In a detailed suicide note and video, Atul Subhash accused his wife, her family, and a family court judge in Jaunpur of harassment. He reportedly endured constant legal battles and was compelled to travel between Bengaluru and Jaunpur around 40 times in just three years.
