TAVARES, Fla. – An Amber Alert was issued Monday morning for a 5-year-old boy from Lake County. The media could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported.

State and local law enforcement officials are searching for a boy they say was last seen on Sunday in Tavares.

Kobayashi, 31, whose disappearance sparked a police investigation before she was found to have voluntarily left the country, told relatives she did not want to return to her home state, according to her family.
