Negotiations are said to have started before her last TNA match (which the WWE partner promotion knew about), and the contract signed shortly after.

WWE Royal Rumble is this weekend and CM Punk needs to win the big match and wrestle in the main event of WrestleMania.

The “transfer window” will close over Royal Rumble weekend. Over the past month or two, it has seemed an awful lot like this was simply a way to get wrestlers appearing on both brands for a time without much movement.

CM Punk is set to participate in the 2025 Royal Rumble, following a notable history in the event where he has participated seven times. His best finish was second place in 2024, and he has consistently eliminated opponents.
