VW's Scout has more than 50,000 reservations for upcoming EVs as automaker aims to grow U.S. share
Scout Motors has received more than 50,000 refundable reservation deposits for its first electric pickups and SUVs, according to Volkswagen CEO Oliver Blume.
Most Scout reservations pick hybrid over EV, says CEO
Bloomberg recently spoke with Scout CEO Scott Keogh during the 2025 CES event in Las Vegas and learned that Scout has already secured more than 50,000 reservations, with the majority of customers opting for the hybrid powertrain over the fully electric option.
