Season 2 of 'The Night Agent' was the most-watched Netflix series of the week of Jan. 20-26, debuting with 13.9 million views in its first four days of availability.

Mark your calendars! Netflix has officially confirmed The Night Agent season 2 is arriving to our screens on 23rd January. The streamer made the announcement on X (formerly known as Twitter), telling followers "The Night Agent returns for Season 2 on 23 January!" along with a teaser clip of the new season.

Sutherland is now a full Night Action agent, though he’s still green as far as his superiors are concerned. When an operation in Bangkok goes bad, he doesn’t know who he can trust—other than Rose Larkin (Luciane Buchanan) of course—so he goes underground. The season hits the ground running and never really lets up.

Agent season 2, the story goes international. Sure, season 1 had some international ramifications—the entire conspiracy rested on the fact that the United States Vice President and his allies thought that an international figure was a poor ally for the sitting presidential administration to be making.

Together, the two tried to uncover a traitor working in the United States government. At the end of Season 1, Peter and Rose successfully found the mole and protected the president. Then, they said goodbye as Peter, a newly minted Night Agent, boarded a plane for a top secret mission.
