Kalkbrenner scores 20 in Creighton's 79-61 victory against Seton Hall
Ryan Kalkbrenner's 20 points helped Creighton defeat Seton Hall 79-61 on Tuesday. Kalkbrenner also added nine rebounds for the Bluejays (21-9, 14-5 Big East Conference). Jackson McAndrew added 17 points while shooting 5 for 8 from beyond the arc while they also had six rebounds.
Former Hall guard and fan favorite John Yablonski, a Rumson resident, has launched an annual tradition. Former cheerleaders will be there, too.
It was not for the current Seton Hall basketball players, whose furious second-half comeback was not enough in a 73-66 loss to Xavier as they fell to 7-20 overall and 2-14 in the Big East.
