As prosecutors began to build a case that would culminate in Bankman-Fried’s convictions on seven fraud, money laundering, and conspiracy charges, the disgraced boy king of crypto jotted down 19 ideas to rehabilitate his reputation.

Fried’s family and allies are trying to help him escape a 25-year prison sentence for fraud related to the collapse of his cryptocurrency exchange, FTX.

The moonshot idea to procure a pardon from Trump is not out of the bounds of possibility. Notably, the president embraced crypto during the election campaign, and then pardoned the founder of blockchain-powered dark web marketplace Silk Road, Ross Ulbricht, just a few days after taking office.
