HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A search is underway after two teens apparently went missing on Oahu’s North Shore. HNN is told the missing individuals are an 18-year-old boy and 17-year-old girl. They were last seen at Ke Iki Beach on Friday night. Their belongings were found at the beach on Saturday, which prompted the search efforts.

The National Weather Service had a high surf warning posted since yesterday for north facing shores. Ke Iki also has a reputation for being dangerous, as it claimed two lives earlier this winter. “Ke Iki beach: It’s dangerous, it’s deadly, it’s not a good swimming beach. Go to a beach where we have lifeguards,” Tinneny said.

The search comes after two Mililani teens did not come home after a Friday night beach date. When Donald Trump returns to the White House on Monday, his family circle will look a little different than it did when he first arrived eight years ago.
