Microsoft will send a verification code to your email address. Enter it and solve the puzzle to prove you're human to complete signing up. Once you've logged into Office.com, you see the main screen.

You can use the code from there if you have the app on other devices. To add more verification for work or school accounts, switch to the Accounts screen of the Microsoft Authenticator app.
