The bowl game, which features Miami and Iowa State, drew more than $12 million in media exposure last season with an edible mascot.

As the Miami Hurricanes and Iowa State Cyclones prepare to go head-to-head in the annual Pop-Tarts Bowl Dec. 28, they’ll be battling for a trophy unlike any other.

According to the Pop-Tart Bowl website, the game continued to be successful after moving to Orlando in 2001, with several different title sponsors throughout the years. In 2023, Pop-Tarts signed a multi-year agreement with Florida Citrus Sports to become the new title sponsor of the game.
