The annual industry showcase began in 1907 near Belle Isle and grew in the 1960s and 1980s to become a massive, multi-day public event. It's back in January for 2025.

The Detroit Auto Show returns to its traditional January time slot this weekend with more than 20 auto brands and four immersive track experiences awaiting showgoers.
