Miami wins their third in a row as they defeat the Nuggets, 147-123 after being tied 63-63 at half. Season-high in points for Miami, most points allowed by Denver all year. Miami moves to 18-15 with their third win in a row as the Nuggets fall to 22-10.
Jokic still led the Nuggets in scoring with 21 points, along with eight assists and five rebounds. Jamal Murray scored 20 for Denver and Spencer Jones — who stepped on Jokic's left foot on the play where the three-time MVP was injured — scored 16 for the Nuggets, as did Tim Hardaway Jr.
The Denver Nuggets started out on their season long, seven game, road trip with a visit to the Orlando Magic who they saw in Denver just over a week ago. The Nuggets used a big run in the second quarter behind their stars Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray to get a lead but Desmond Bane and Anthony Black led a comeback for the Magic in the second half to make a close finish.
