The Chicago Bears continue to make moves ahead of free agency, signing veteran tight end Durham Smythe, as the team continues to strengthen the roster under new head coach Ben Johnson. Smythe is reportedly signing to a one-year deal with Chicago after spending the first seven seasons of his career with the Miami Dolphins.

He was picked in Round 4 of the 2018 NFL draft by the Dolphins, where he played under future Bears head coach Ben Johnson, who was the wide receivers coach.
