Police said they "continued the low-speed pursuit" until the truck collided with a Lake County Sheriff's Department squad car.

A Lake County Sheriff’s Department squad car was hit by a truck during a low-speed chase overnight in north suburban Mundelein. According to the Mundelein Police Department, two Lake County sheriff’s deputies and one Mundelein police officer were taken to an area hospital and treated for minor injuries.

Multiple roads in suburban Mundelein were shut down early Wednesday morning and traffic was rerouted after a “suspicious incident” involving a “low-speed” police pursuit ended with the driver crashing into a squad car.
