Designed as some kind of reptilian creature with green skin and a bulb on its back, Bulbasaur evolves into Ivysaur after reaching at least Level 16, and then into Venusaur starting at Level 32.

Designs include Venusaur, Blastoise, and Shiny Charizard-themed balls ... and it all begins with a choice between the Grass-powered Bulbasaur, fire-breathing Charmander, and Water-type Squirtle.
