Beset by delays, concerns and last-minute building works, the Milano Santagiulia Ice Hockey Arena finally opened its doors to Olympic crowds on Thursday.
The Fighting Hawks are not scheduled to play in Kalamazoo next season. Western Michigan will open a new arena in 2027.
