LG unveiled the ‘world’s first’ bendable 5K2K gaming monitor at CES 2025, and it has a remarkably hard-to-type name: the LG UltraGear GX9 45GX990A. The company simplifies (?) that to the LG UltraGear OLED Bendable Gaming Monitor, and it's an accurate title since the 45-inch display can transition from a 900R curve to perfectly flat and back again.

Samsung announced a handful of monitors at CES 2025, and this looks like the most notable -- or at least newsworthy -- gaming monitor. Mostly because gamers get excited by high numbers (except if it's latency). In this case, the company has updated its G6 line with a 500MHz refresh rate version of its 1440p, 27-inch OLED.

I looked at a lot of monitors this week at CES. And I mean a lot. LG, Samsung, Asus, Acer, Lenovo, Dell — they all brought new monitors at the show this year, some of which look like some of the best monitors you’ll be able to buy.

Both curved and flat monitors have their place. Some prefer the look of the flat monitor, while curved monitors offer a little more immersion for a variety of experiences. What if you could have one monitor that was both curved and flat?
