As the Canada Post strike drags on through a fourth week, some charities say they are feeling a negative impact in the middle of the busiest time of the year — and at least one Windsor charity is seeing record low donations.

Orders from the small business would normally be shipped to customers via Canada Post. However, the strike by more than 55,000 employees at the Crown corporation has forced Hanson and other Winnipeg shops to find alternatives so customers can get their orders on time.

Public support is key to the success of a strike, experts say, but as the Canada Post strike drags on, that support is likely getting harder to maintain.
