In the 115 years that the Westminster Dog Show has named a Best in Show, one breed has won in two of every five years.

Thousands of dogs. Hundreds of breeds. And just one top dog will be crowned at the Westminster Kennel Club show Tuesday night.

Canines of all kinds were being primped and preened on Monday (10 February) at New York's Jacob Javits Convention Center, as the 149th Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show commenced. US says will levy tariffs on Mexico, Canada and China on Feb. 1

The 149th edition of the famous Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show is here, with various events scheduled over the next few days.

Here's a list of every Best in Show winner at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show ahead of the 149th annual event this week.

About 2,500 dogs of all sizes have been put to the test at the 149th Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show, and Tuesday night, one of them will win the prestigious title of "Best in Show" at Madison Square Garden.

It begins Saturday morning at the Javits Center convention hall with agility and obedience championships and some demonstration events, including Westminster’s first experiment with flyball. That’s essentially a canine relay race that involves running a course of jumps and retrieving a ball.
