Lindsey Vonn told The Associated Press on Thursday that she plans to retire again after next year’s Olympics, when women’s skiing will be held in Cortina.

Lindsey Vonn fell while on pace for a top-five finish at a World Cup super-G on Sunday to mark the second time she has gone down in four days during her comeback to ski racing at age 40. Again, the American came away mostly unscathed.

Italy's Federica Brignone won the super-G race at Cortina on Sunday, her first World Cup win at the Italian course extending her overall lead, while Lindsey Vonn gave the crowd a scare when crashing out on the third sector but emerged unharmed.
