Stanley recalls 2.6M travel mugs because of possible burn hazard, dozens injured worldwide

Stanley Recalls Around 2.6 Million Travel Mugs After 38 Suffer Burns
The recall comes after Stanley received 91 reports of the lids detaching during use worldwide, including 16 in the United States. So far, 38 burn injuries have been reported, two of which took place in the U.S. And, 11 incidents worldwide required medical attention.
