The Haryana government early Saturday suspended the internet services in the areas which fall within the jurisdictions of the Ambala district, beginning at 6 am till 11:59 pm on December 17, in view of the farmers’ march.

Farmers held a tractor march on Monday in support of the farmers protesting at the Shambhu border over their various demands, including a legal guarantee on the MSP for crops. The farmers marched to the Punjab-Haryana border on tractors where protesting farmers have been camping since February 13 over their demands.

Extending support to the protesting farmers at Shambhu border in Punjab, members of Samyukt Kisan Morcha (a non-political entity) of Madurai zone staged a protest outside railway junction here on Monday.

Several Haryana leaders, including Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) secretary-general and former Leader of Opposition Abhay Singh Chautala visited Dallewal at the Khanauri border on Monday, accompanied by INLD state president Rampal Majra and Dabwali MLA Aditya Devilal.

Farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher announced on Tuesday (10 December) that the protesting Punjab farmers would resume their foot march to Delhi on 14 December, citing the lack of communication from the Central government to initiate dialogue, reported Hindustan Times.

The announcement came hours after a 'Jathha' of 101 farmers, blocked by the police at the Shambhu border due to security concerns, was withdrawn for the day.
