Oklahoma State has another addition from its in-state rival. On Sunday, Oklahoma transfer running back Kalib Hicks announced his commitment to OSU. Originally a three-star prospect out of Denton, Texas, Hicks adds some talent to the OSU running back room.

It's no secret the Oklahoma Sooners are in the market for wide receivers in the winter transfer portal period. After losing Nic Anderson, Jalil Farooq, Andrel Anthony, Brenen Thompson, and Jaquaize Pettaway,

The 2024 winter transfer portal is open, and the Oklahoma Sooners and teams across the country are beginning their efforts to reload for the 2025 season. Oklahoma has already been connected to a couple of players in the portal: wide receivers Donaven McCulley and Reginald Virgil.

Linebacker has been a position of concern this offseason and Oklahoma State addressed it by adding a proven player via the transfer portal.

The 2024 winter transfer portal will open officially on December 9, and it’s expected to be a busy period for player movement. As roster limits are set to reduce to 105 players at the NCAA level, there will be even more players entering the portal than normal.
