Detroit-based rapper Dank Demoss has alleged that a Lyft driver refused her a ride because of her weight. She's now suing Lyft.

A Detroit rapper is suing rideshare company Lyft after a driver allegedly refused to give her a ride because of her weight.

The driver pulled up in a Mercedes Benz sedan, and when Blanding walked toward the car, the driver allegedly locked his doors and started to drive away. The lawsuit adds that the driver told her she was too big to get into his car and at one point, also said his tires could not support her weight.
