The Michigan State football team potentially bolstered its passing game for 2025 on Sunday, gaining a verbal commitment from wide receiver Omari Kelly.

Head coach Sherrone Moore and the Wolverines also made waves when they added Cincinnati (Ohio) St. Xavier quarterback Chase Herbstreit, the son of ESPN college football analyst and former Ohio State Buckeye QB Kirk Herbstreit.

The second commitment came from former Oregon State offensive lineman Luke Vincic, who was going to be a starting guard for the Beavers in 2025. He has played in 22 games during his career and will reunite with his former O-line coach with two years of eligibility remaining.
