An armed adult man was shot by US Secret Service personnel on Sunday morning outside the White House, the agency announced shortly after the incident.

Washington – An armed man believed to be traveling from Indiana was shot by U.S. Secret Service agents near the White House after a confrontation early Sunday, according to authorities.

President Trump was in Florida at the time of the episode, during which a 27-year-old man held a gun and a confrontation ensued, the agency said.
