"Georgia cornerback Julian Humphrey has signed with Texas A&M, On3 has learned," Nakos wrote on Sunday. "The No. 2 cornerback in the transfer portal, according to On3’s Transfer Portal Rankings, Humphrey spent the weekend in College Station.

Duke suffered a big loss when Maalik Murphy entered the portal but responded by landing Darian Mensah from Tulane.

The college football transfer portal officially opened for business Monday. There already have been more than 1,500 FBS scholarship players -- and almost 2,000 total FBS players -- enter their names into the portal.

In the Power Four, the Arizona Wildcats lead the way with 26 players entering the transfer portal. The SEC has also been hit hard with the Arkansas Razorbacks (24), Mississippi State Bulldogs (24) and Kentucky Wildcats (21) among the power programs most impacted by the portal.
