Donald Trump’s campaign declined to comment Thursday on whether North Carolina Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson, whom the former president once described as “Martin Luther King on steroids,” should drop out of the battleground state’s race for governor.

CNN’s report included that the user posted comments about peeping through a vent into women’s showers and sharing an affinity for transgender pornography, which was referenced using derogatory terms. Robinson has publicly railed against transgender rights in recent years.
